Vehicle seizure - 2/8/26 |
Following a patrol of the Cornelly area on Sunday 2nd August 2026 at 13:14 by our force Traffic units, a vehicle was removed off our roads. The vehicle was stopped by the officer within The Marlas estate and as a result of checks, the vehicle was seized. The driver has since been reported to court for driving with NO Licence or Insurance. He will face his day in court, where the chances are he will face a ban from driving, at least 6 points on the licence ( which he hasn't got ! ) and a hefty fine.
If and when he passes his test, when he gains a full licence, he will already have 6 points on it. This will cause his insurance premium to sky rocket.
Is it really worth it? Of course not. Be legal, simple as that.
